The Château of Saint-Privat-des-Prés

and its landscaped historical park

Saint-Privat

Just in the middle of the village of Saint-Privat-des-Pres, the venue consists in a remarkable chateau and its dependencies, all organized around a charming courtyard. Five independent houses - the Chateau, the Logis Vert, the Logis Rouge, the Logis Blanc and the Logis Noir - named after the four parts of Dordogne, have been restored with refined taste in the spirit of the 18th century and modern comfort. The courtyard opens onto a park of 40 hectares, landscaped in the middle of the 19th century by the famous French landscape gardener Eugene Bühler.

A lovely walk among the centenarian trees of the park leads to its centerpiece - a basin of natural water. This pool is exceptional not only by its size (650 sqm) but also by its stylish poolhouse, offering a kitchen and lunch area, cloakrooms, toilets and showers.
